Thermal Insulation for Steam Pipes in a Thermal Power Plant

The steam pipes of a certain thermal power plant adopt 50mm-thick rock wool boards, matched with aluminum sheet outer protection. After using rock wool boards for insulation, the surface temperature of the steam pipes drops from 150℃ to below 40℃, the thermal efficiency is significantly improved, while the heat dissipation loss of the pipes is also reduced, lowering energy consumption.
